KNITTING CLASSES

The Beginning Knitting Classes are two sessions, the same day and time for two consecutive weeks.

First session

Learn how to cast on and how to knit

Then we will have a week in between to practice, to make mistakes and "suspicious stitches”

Second session

Learn how to purl, how to knit and purl creating different patterns, and how to cast

off.

By the end of the second session, you’re ready to start a project, like cowls, scarves, hats, mittens, Christmas stockings and much more!

Small projects are highly recommended. The sense of accomplishment is important because once your

project is ready you can share your masterpiece with the world!

The cost of private classes is $35.00/hour, plus materials. We will work for 2 sessions, 1.5 hours each session.

Instruction $105.00

Materials    $30.00

The cost of materials includes yarn (bulky and worsted weight yarn to practice in class and at home),

Knitting needles size US11 and US10.

The Beginning Knitting Classes for kids are 2 sessions, 1.5 hours each session, the same day and time for two consecutive weeks. Min 2 up to 4 students per class.

The students will learn:

- Casting on

- Basic knit stitch

- Casting off and the construction of the item in class..

About the project:

The students can choose a headband, hat or a purse!

Special requirement: all the students must make the same project.

The cost of this class is $70.00 per student, plus materials. We will work for 2 sessions, 1.5 hours

each session.

Materials:

- Headband: $20.00 per student. Includes yarn, needles, buttons and decorations

- Hat: $40.00 per student. Includes circular needles, yarn, fake fur pompom, 2 buttons and a metallic snap

- Purse: $30.00 per student. Includes needles, yarn (tape, 100% cotton), hardware, zipper, and strap

There is an additional $25 fee for lining each purse.

Each student receives a free knitting bag!

The adult and kid  is a private class, just for the two of you! It is two sessions, 1.5 hours each session, the same day and time for two consecutive weeks.

Both of you will learn:

- Casting on

- Basic knit stitch

- Casting off and the construction of your item in class

We will crochet two matching headbands, one for each of you! Working for some time at home, you both will be able to finish your items by the end of the second session!

The cost of this class is $150.00, plus materials. We will work for 2 sessions, 1.5 hours each session.

Materials

-Headband: $20.00 per student. Includes yarn, needles, buttons and decorations

- Hat: $40.00 per student. Includes circular needles, 1 skein of yarn (150 gr), fake fur pompom, 2 buttons and a metallic snap

- Purse: $30.00 per student. Includes needles, 1 skein of yarn (tape, 100% cotton), hardware, zipper, and strap
